In the Udham Singh Nagar district, under the jurisdiction of Khatima Police Station, the Jhankaiya Police arrested a suspect with illegal drugs and presented him in court on Friday.
As per the directives of the Senior Superintendent of Police in Udham Singh Nagar, a campaign against narcotics was underway. Under this campaign, the Jhankaiya Police apprehended the accused, Vipro Sarkar, near the Tar Line in Pakadia Gram, with 6.99 grams of illegal drugs.

The police registered charges against him under relevant sections and presented the arrested suspect in court, subsequently sending him to jail. The Jhankaiya Police Station in-charge, Ravindra Singh Bisht, confirmed that after filing charges against the suspect for possessing 6.99 grams of illegal drugs, he was presented in court and subsequently sent to jail.
